Free State of Jones is a 2016 American war film instinct by
the life of Newton Knight and his armed hostility in opposition the Confederacy
in Jones County, Mississippi during the American Civil
Battle. The film was pen-and-ink and directed by Gary Ross, stars Matthew
McConaughey, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Mahershala Ali, Keri Russell and Brendan Gleeson.
The film is scheduled to be loosed in the U.S. on June 24, 2016 by STX
Entertainment.
Story & Plot, Free State of Jones
Story is about a 1982
War of Corinth during civil war, a penniless farmer from Mississippi named Newton Knight. He leads a
group of short fellow farmers and local thralls to openly resist an established
ruler which puts them against to the join states in Jones County.
During this Newton Knight marries a thrall woman named Rachel, who is currently
free. He add many people in his crew, those also who are from other people and
unite them to fight as one.
